Had a cracking meal thanks HM - went to The Old Silent inn just down the road at Stanbury, full 3 courses and some OP. As for the race, well, I gave my number back after a run round the course as mi leg was stiff and I did not want to risk further injury

Bit late for this recommendation Ady - but next time you're over there try "The Weavers" in Haworth at the top of the cobbles - it's a bit posher than pub grub, but it's very good; especially the Smoked Haddock Chowder. Just don't park in the clamper's car park...

Was well impressed with the Silent Inn, so much so we will be paying it another visit soon. Will add The Weavers to my to do list though, cheers Crowhill.

The Old Silent is grand. So is the Grouse just up the road in Oldfield.
Warenui on Haworth Main Street is lovely, and a bit different, altho' you'd have to book for a Tuesday night. Avoid Chaplins in the bottom of Haworth though.
