Does anyone know if here will be an entry list in numerical order available on the day? Otherwise it looks impossible to be able to identify runners quickly from the list shown on the forum link

Thumbs up Re: 3 Peaks numbers

Some of us weaker mortals have to save plenty, just to get round short routes. I am definitely saving plenty for this one eh.
Keep an eye out for me Egor, I'll be at the back, still saving plenty to keep up with the dregs.
    why do we do?

My usual schedule is to come out of winter hibernation when the clocks to change at the end of March and then think "Oh Sh*te it's the 3 Peaks in a month, better get some long runs in".

Yeah the weather has certainly impeded some long days out in the hills for me. I'm still in Seasonal Affective Disorder mode, (Sad Syndrome from living in this grey country!) it's usually gone by March! Where has Mr Sunshine gone!
Still, at least there's an almost definate bet that we won't be suffering from heat exhaustion this year! Another mud fest just like last years Lyke Wake Race and that was in July! Well my number is last...902, but I will be so proud if I get round in the time allotted, that itself will be a great achievement for me. And if I don't...well I'll just keep on trying!

I was gonna do Whernside but decided on a pint in the Hill Inn instead

Yeah it's soul destroying when everyone is sat outside the pub chilling out and you have to keep on going past, usually in pain!
No pub crawls on the 26th Leeds Rhino!!! But there'll be a few pints waiting for you at the end I bet!

see you all on the day, this tapering lark is so frustrating eh.
How have you done the tapering for this one then? I've used that for previous long races but it's gone a bit awry this time. Was thinking of doing a 2 hr easy run tomorrow then resting up til next Sat.

I did a long run 7 days before the Skyline and suffered for it. Started my taper already but I'VE GOT A COLD!!!!!
Fingers crossed for a full recovery in 6 days.

I don't think you've quite got this tapering idea....

Ian - good point, might shorten tomorrows run out. It's bitter up here today! Get better soon.
