luvshack has posted on the pennine site that the gamekeepers and various people have asked us to respect certain areas of the fell during nesting season , which we will.
So anyone heading out for a run around hayfield just have a look and bear this in mind.

Dark Peak have a similar arrangment during nesting times esp for groups of runners, Land owners don't seem to be worried about solo runners quite as much.

NESTING BIRDS - SENSITIVE AREAS
Another reminder..... during the nesting season (which is now until around early July) we (PFR/KFR etc) have been politely asked by NT & Local Landowners (& their agents), to please keep to the definitive paths & rights of way and not to run "off piste" over The Knott, Leygatehead Moor, Middle Moor, Burnt Hill, Mill Hill, The Upper Sett and the other wilder places we often frequent on Thursday training nights. Please do your bit in this..... as I'm sure you would all want to help protect nesting birds and foster good relations with others whose livelihoods are closely linked with protecting & preserving this very special landscape and it's fauna & flora....
