Not long off this event now. The numbers and the PB prize vouchers have arrived and I've got most of what I need to organise all sorted. Hope to see as many there on the day as possible. Only a couple of weeks to go before race day so there's still time to get out for a recce :-)

I've obtained 2 NEW TROPHIES for the race this year. One for the men and one for the ladies. Who wants to be the first to have their name engraved on these trophies - now there's an offer you top runners can't resist eh?

I've had a couple more questions from runners. Yes, it's entry on the day and it's only £6.
There is no entry limit BUT I have only got 200 numbers, so best get there early to guarantee a run.
Would runners park in the village hall car park (up the hill from registration) and arrive in good time to register etc.
Please be at the start line by 10.50am for headcount and final race instructions.

For what it is worth I am disappointed you didn't get a bigger field. Of course it clashes with Duddon and, as one veteran and very illustrious runner pointed out to me, it fell only 2 weeks before a Champs counter - and it wasn't in the published Calendar; but I hope you do better next year.
