Was on Pendle with DoE kids today and so found several on the ckeckpoints and had a good chat with marshall at last road crossing.
It looked great fun and I was jealous I couldn't join in- one to remember for next year!

Thanks to all the runners for your support, and for all your appreciative comments, it makes it all worthwhile. Although must make that Barn at CP9 a bit more visible also a big thanks to all the volunteers, without who's help the race wouldn't go ahead.
Hope to see you all next year.

Well done Mrs T. You managed to get the winner this time! Thanks to Studmarks & all his helpers for a superb day. You even managed to fix the weather!
The only way is up.
Was very jealous when I got to the Assheton Arms with the missus and in-laws and overheard a table full of fell-runners sharing their war stories.
Was about 3 o'clock. Was it anyone from on here?

Navigational wise...
CP 1-2, 2-3 looks relatively ok.
3-4 looks 'ok'
4-5 looks 'tricky'.
As for 5-6, do people take the high ground and go over the top, or drop down lower passing the resevoir on your left and eventually climbing up to it.
6-7 -Doesnt look too bad
7-8 -Looks a long way
8-9 -Sounds like i havent to run past a barn?
Oh god, what if the clag is down.

Both; there's nothing in it, time-wise.As for 5-6, do people take the high ground and go over the top, or drop down lower passing the resevoir on your left and eventually climbing up to it.
The check point was just in front of the barn; when you get across the road and down the steps, look left towards the barn and it should be easily visible. I think several missed it because they had their 'nearly home' heads on and just charged straight down the hill.8-9 -Sounds like i havent to run past a barn?
