Ground very hard on the course. It is raining at the moment, but it shouldn't affect things too much.

Cor, what an ace run! Start at Elle Bank is scary - I commented on why there weren't any machine gunners hiding in the bushes to make it even harder!
Super run out, managed to keep going most of the way on the first half, only walking half of the climb up to South Head. Then the down to Dimpus and up was a real lung buster. Bloomin' cold & blowy on the tops though even though it was hard work.

Will be back to do this one again. Thanks to all concerned for organising and heping with the race.

As far as I can make out from my Garmin 305 the start climbed about 143 feet in 326 feet and took me more than 3 minutes. Over 3 minutes for less than 100 metres!

Thanks to Mark Boulton and helpers for running this local classic.

I reckon the new course is only 30-40 seconds longer than the previous course. Not the 2-3 minutes I initially suspected. The only difference was a wider path down into Dimpus Clough.

Hello Harry don't know how I managed it. My legs are really sore now, I could do with some of that oil the Tin-Man used in the Wizard-of-Oz.

Let me know when its on You-Tube.

    Regards
