Bleaklow was packed out last Sunday afternoon with a range of sunday walkers, hard core back packers and the odd fell and road runner out for a sunday blast.

Does anyone what the advice is re getting out onto the moors from Langsett?
Was considering running all/part of Mickleden Straddle over the weekend but haven't been up there to see if there are any notices posted.
Mickleden Straddle is all on rights of way, so there shouldn't be a problem. Presumably it's only access land that's affected.Originally Posted by jodg

Ta Geoff, thought as much. Was just wondering about the route up and beyond Cut Gate and then latterly up Howden Clough.
