Quite a few carcasses of signal crayfish on the banks of the Wharfe near Barden today, seems like they've really taken a hold.

My two deer were back in Cleatop wood yesterday - first time I've seen them since June I'd guess
Another dead thing! Freshly killed, small bat in the road when I was out running. Must have been hit recently and in daylight as there was quite fresh looking blood! I put it in a bush thinking I might return and see if I can retrieve the skull but think its probably a waste of time as it will be tiny and a faff to seperate from the furry bits!

SEA EAGLE, well chuffed and not somewhere I'd have expected to see one.

Thousands and thousands of fox moth caterpillars up on the moor, sun and warmth bringing them out to feed. We reckoned there must have been one every square meter, and there's miles of moorland.
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
