I did this race on a red hot day about ten years ago when it was a 10 miler. When did the distance change to 10K Pinno?

Not run this before but I photographed it last year. Its been 10K for 5-6 years I think. It gets a good turnout and pulls in some good runners.

The route goes around the cricket field then off down towards the waterfront then loops back and finishes on the cricket field (think I have it correct). Supposed to be a fast course so I thought I would give it a try. Entries on the day accepted before 10.30am.

Always a good turn out but get near the front if you are gunning for that PB as there is a mad dash through the gates at the start...will be at Freckleton half otherwise I would have done this race.

Think this race was the first time I spoke to you Pinno?

Penny Lane 10K this morning with a record turnout by all accounts. What a windy day though it was extremely windy along the waterfront in both directions and probably took a bit off peoples times. A good race and a fast course if it wasn't so windy.
