We did the great lakes run today in rotton weather and met some pacers waiting at the stretcher box at mickledore, felt very for the people running today after all the good weather weve had recently.

Dave Nuttall from Clayton got round in the very bad weather. I did not see many other teams out. Did anyone else manage it this weekend?. The river Caldew crossing was fun

I've just seen on the Goyt Valley site that Claire, Will and Paul all completed in under 24 hours yesterday. Well done to all.

Will and Ian (Bowland) set off on a CW at 01:00hrs. They put up with some pretty nasty waether from about halfway on. Both did brillaintly to finish inside the 24 hours. Will managed 22:51 and Ian had a dramatic end, with us all a bit worried, to finish in 23:58. Well done to them a great effort. Also well done to any other finishers on a difficult end to the day.

I was with these three for legs 3 and 4. We had a huge group of supporters, with 16 setting out from Wasdale at the start of leg 4. They all completed at about 6pm. The weather was truly awful for the last 6 hours and hats off to anyone who gets round in those conditions.

Does anyone know how Fell Shoe Shuffler got on with his 55 at 55 round?

Definite well done to those who got round - it was windy enough at low levels so must have been "interesting" on the tops to say the least.

Eating & drinking went horribly wrong and gave me nausea for almost all of the 9 hours to Wasdale. This prevented me from eating even half of what I needed and so I packed in.

Once I get food sorted I'll have another go later this summer.
