Pen y Fan now has junior race

Hi folks - there will be a junior race at Pen y Fan this year (next saturday - 19th) so bring along any sprightly sprogs age 8-17.
It will go to the stile and back - 1 mile. Start same as main race. Chocolate buttons and curly wurlies to be won.
Wheeze - don't even try to enter, you are too old and therefore must endure the full 3.5m + 1930ft of fun.
For more info on this and the whole Brecon Fans Race Weekend...

Oh yes, and as well as the £200 for new men's record (impossible), we're offering £100 for new ladies record - at 38:15 this is eminently achievable even with wonky feet and tonsillitis (ahem) - even I managed 37:07 with a busted knee!
    cheers

    Wheeze in drag .
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

how am I supposed to enjoy my dinner now?
Anyway, to beat 38:15 it would have to be Wheeze in drag and on a magic carpet

    Now look here!
Mr Flower has been good enough to develop this wonderful race and all you can do is make spiteful comments about one of its most dedicated followers......... Make that one splatted (knackered achilles) Mole and a de-caped Large Boy Wonder!!! I'll see you on t'fell, make no mistake!

And what I race in is my business and no-one elses!!!

Now, where did I put that pretty gingham number?? (courtesy Ray C Shred)

Good evening Mr Wheeze - nice to see you are lurking on the forums, undoubtedly having partaken of a few, ideal preparation for the UK's finest race! See you in the morning,

Well done Mr Flower....lovely race as usual and quite an international flavour this year!
Personally, about 30 secs slower than last year but then I found my stilletto's were catching dreadfully on the tussocks.

Was VERY tempted to stop at the stile and race back with the kiddies to claim my curly-wurly but thought the better of it and decided to treat myself to the full monty. Quite windy on the top and I do wish people would not persist in secretly making Corn Du higher each year!

    Cheers to all helpers....well done!
