my home club...you must be a rich man to afford these races.Needless to say i won't be running,might marshall as long as they don't expect me to pay for the experience !!!
I got a lot more money than I bargained for when I sold my soul to the devil Rodders
enjoyed the trip out but not a pb course as quite hilly, nice atmosphere and location, really quiet lanes
Despite the expense i managed to drag myself off the sofa and give it a go ! Mainly due to me telling a few of the local residents to keep an eye out for me (being the local postman) and didn't want to let them down ! Only ever run 4 10k's before,two of them 3-4 years ago,so was pleased to knock 56secs off pb,despite racing wed.Just missed out on a podium though
unlucky about the podium finish rodders, great to knock that time off the pb though, so does that jack russel bite your legs each morning? i'm glad the gate was in the way
mmmm can't remember dog harrymoon.The area is on the border of two delivery offices (shrew and os) and i only deliver area between 1-2 miles of race and to the west.Quite enjoyed the course,not a pb course for a true 10k runner as you say.Find the road races harder than fell races,probably due to me doing very little speed work.I think Telford 10k in dec is place for real good PB ! Glad you enjoyed it,nice to see a fell runner (mike james) dominate the field
