40 miles at level 2 in the Ribble Valley, loosened the legs up nicely from yesterday's race, followed by stretching when I got back. Was going to rest today but that was near enough to a rest.

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

I did 107 kms on Saturday, that is about 65 miles I think??? It was cold, wet and windy and I had not done any exercise since doing my ankle in at the OMM, apart from a couple of 30 min turbo sessions last week... it was interesting and my legs are still burning!

Rode another 20 miles yesterday, had to turn back before hitting 30, as the wind became so strong I was almost being blown backwards!

Only just seen this post - doh!
I was in the pub for quite a bit but it was pretty busy. I have started doing what I normally do in winter and have swapped the helmet for a nice warm hat - not ideal but damn comfy and warm!!

70 miles today with 11 others. A nice steady pace to the cafe and then 20mph average for 35 miles on the way back on my own to make an appointment. Feel quite fresh to say I haven't being doing much on it of late.

    An epic today
122miles on my bike . Headed up to buxton and then a bit further and then headed back to Ilkeston
    2nd 100mile ride over the holiday an 3 x 60mile ones.

Id forgotton what it feels like to do a very very hilly 100mile ride.

Very cold and windy as well.

Not stopped eating since i got back but should have eaten more on the bike.
Le bonk came knocking at 85miles , 2 x mars bars , 2 x cans coke, 1 flapjack, 2 bananas and i was away again.

    Off to bed soon

oh ADY , forgot to ask what overshoes do you wear for cold days , both my ones arnt up to it
