It was BRILL, almost all the way on the 52 front ring, flying up the hills and keeping at traffic speed in the 30 zones.

Now if I was to train a bit harder, lose a lot of weight and pust myself to the max, I could probably ride home it that time more often.

God took this morning and gave me some back this afternoon.

    Ahhhhh the pleasures of cycling.

    PS 18 mile with 1600 ft or 29k & 500m

My youngest was 10 yesterday which means I've been commuting for at least that long. The wife tells me it may have been as long as12 or 13 years. It's not far, only about an 8 mile round trip, but I like to think it's character building just wheeling my bike out of the garage some days.

Nikalas, have you seen this report about Zofingen?

    Should be fun.
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.

My lad is 12 next month so i've been riding my bike to work or running for 12 years, except when i was on the night shift, 8m round trip. Now work days and a 12m round trip with more if i can be bothered. Character building indeed and a great way of getting some training in. Had a three month temp job driving all day and struggled to do any training, hated it. Respect to them folk who work all day, have to travel by car or public transport and still manage to train.
