HR average was 84% and max was 94% I have more in the tank I think.
Oh and the biggest surprize was that I downed a couple or 6 beers last night with a couple of Blues thrown in.

Might go out for a recovery jog after tea.

    Follow him on Twitter @crossjunkie
He organises the Ronde Van Oost at the end of this month - tough, medium length route (with cobbles).

....But what they really need to do is partner with Hope to supply them built up with hydraulic brakes rather than cabled brakes.

Great vid, that bike in the vid looked like it had hydraulic discs Dom, or is that just for the prototype?

As for the brakes, the Avid BB7 will be a lot more powerful and more reliable ( not as affected by water & crud ) than cantis and a lot easier on maintenance than hydraulics, albeit not as powerful.

Steve, definitely cable operated Avids, just look at the closing sequence close up of the front hub.

Sorry, didn't spot that - thought it was the Disco in the vid. The Hope pic above is a convertor that takes a cable from a standard STI lever and links it to a hydraulic resevoir that then powers a hydraulic disk brake. Paul Oldham (in the pic above) was racing it in the British champs this year. I have a PX Uncle John with BB7's and they're not much cop. Nowhere close to the hydraulics on my MTB.
