35 miles on the road bike this morning taking in rural Worcestershire and the Clent Hills. Absolutely glorious weather - legs felt surprisingly good on the hills. Glad to be back in shorts and a short sleeved jersey. Would have stayed out longer but have other commitments this afternoon.

No Anthony, crossing the Kent and Keer channels would play havoc with pedal, B/B and wheel bearings ..... not to mention that ground conditions would be a tad 'gloopy' for 28mm road tyres! I've walked that route several times!!

A couple of years ago, one of our guys had had enough at Grange and caught the train home.

I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Not a good bike ride for me today. I had a mechanical and decided to take it out on a camera bike, my team mate got me back onto the peloton and i decided to hide and try and keep my powder dry. BMC went without me after i got dropped on the last categorised climb, so i cried off. I can't do with all these upstarts just attacking and riding off all the time, can't they just stay in one group so we can sprint it out? Harrumph.

Just extended my route to 3 villages.
30mins and enjoying it. Nice breezes along the way but getting warmer.

I had fun yesterday. I photographed Rosetto flying past the Dyneley Arms at about 50, then again as he came through Adel crossroads turning a giant gear very late in the day. All this meant i had to make it between points within 12ish minutes. I cycled the 5mls at an average speed of 19.8 and made it relatively comfortably to get the second photo, although i was very knackered.

After the last official car had gone past i cycled the course for a few miles, the children watching on said i was "very naughty".

40 minutes Sunday to Barwick in Elmet
30 minutes potter tonight. Lovely afternoon with only a light breeze.

Just starting to get slightly better but really enjoying it in my head.
Its the motivation & depression that takes some beating.

bit presumptuous, but the RAF Battle of Britain memorial fight are doing a couple of passes over Derwent Dams tomorrow for the 75th anniversary of the Dambusters/100th of the RAF, so heading out on the bikes to watch that. Beats being chained to the computer churning out thesis!

ah, damn presumption. Lancaster/spitfire/hurricane flyby cancelled due to excessive wind.
