Mmmm just back from my latest spin. Should have done a bit further (not fit enough) roads very quite.

Light winds and cracking views. Just started to feel fitter and recover better from an effort.

Beer and bbq before Cas & Leeds now.

Just watched the highlights on 'Quest' .... F.V. Ch37; mind blowing, my inhaler certainly doesn't give me that sort of kick.
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

I watch cycling on Eurosport - its lengthy multichannel cycling coverage is superb - and listening to the commentators on this Giro (which includes Sean Kelly) has reminded me that whilst they undoubtedly know more than me (or have better data on the screens in front of them) when it comes to forecasts they don't always know that much more.

South Wales today for me. 112km with 2000m ascent taking in Abergavenny, the tumble, Hay on Wye and Gospel pass. Horrible weather for cycling and lack of training is apparent but glad to be back on the road bike again after recent injuries.

Nice down hills and into the breeze, hot, slow a sweaty on the hills.

    Rode to work this morning.

7m just steady so i make sure i have the legs for the return ride.

Nice to be back in the saddle regular.

Helps my depression massively and should assist with weight loss & fitness.
