Just wondering if any forumites will be taking part in the this year's race. I'm entered (a foolish notion based on getting around the course last year and really enjoying it!) but most probably not be going this time. And, as the race entry is now full, I have a friend waiting to take my place...

I think I will try a flatter one first and see how I do.
Pity about that Pinno. It's a great race as you'll probably remember from last year.
Requires a lot of prep and I was geared up for it alright at that time, all training etc went to plan. This year I ran a much flatter road marathon with nowhere near as much prep and suffered big time. Plus I was only 7 mins quicker on a course with 1300ft less climb!
Of course, now that I've said I'm not doing Snowdonia, part of my mind is telling me to give it a go.... typical.
