    Titanium gloves

    in my search for a good windproof and waterproof glove for the hills, i came to the realisation that titanium would be the way to go, we use em on the lifeboat service and in some pretty crappy and cold conditions. Just wandering, does anyone else use em on the fells?

    they are bascally wet suit gloves, they trap a layer of water against the skin and warm it up to body temp, hence warmth in cold wet conditions. We use em on boat, they do the trick, but was just curious if anyone else used em. If not, they are worth giving a go.

    If titanium gloves are anything like neoprene gloves I'd read the thread below before buying them;

    they are neoprene but with a thin layer of titanium for heat trapping. i've worn them many times on nasty all night sea rescues in winter, and i have certanley not experienced any of those issues!
