just been browsing the latest fellrunner magazine , and spotted the results for " the druid " and "moel y gamelin " anna frost won these by a big margin , beating top class international runners in the process . excuse my ignorance but its the first ive heard of her . anyone ???

She won the Snowdon uphill only trial for the GB womens team to compete at the Euros earlier in the year. Was picked for the NZ team at the Worlds again, but got injured & is only just getting back into her running.
For some unfathomable reason she's going out with Gilbert The Dude.

Met Anna a few years ago and then seen her at lots of races. Seems to have hit form this year and really progressed.

I met Anna a few weeks ago up in the Lakes - she's good fun, very easy going and friendly, and indeed not a bad runner. I was trying to get her interested in the likes of the Fairfield and Kentmere races. I think she'd do well.
Wondered what you've got against her fella!

I have met Anna and Gilbert on a couple occaisions. They both won the Coed Y Brenin Off Road Duathlon last year (male and female solo cat) and entered last week as a relay team with Anna doing the running. She powered through the runs making them look really easyA lovely couple who love the race. And by heck, Gilbert can mountain bike somewhat!!

I agree she would do well at Fairfield & Kentmere but like myself she's not the greatest technical descender, her strength is definitely her climbing.
I've got absolutely nothing against Gil, I love him like a brother, hence the use of emoticons.
