I think I'll be there. Work's getting a bit manic at the minute, off to Durham at 6am tomorrow, Leeds on Tuesday, then back to Durham next Friday to finish off what I can't do this weekend because BT can't get their act together.

It makes sense for us to work around your train times Al. Earlier in thread you possted below times:

    Arrival times at windermere train station. 09:22 10:13 11:01 12:17 13:12

I think they're for Saturdays though. Check what time you can arrive on Sundays and we'll meet you. Would have thought 11am in Ambleside would be fine, bearing in mind dark nights

Well public transport seems to be against me and sundays.

I cant use the train becuase the first one from preston doesnt arrive in windermere until 12:48.

So my only option is to catch the 9:10 bus from preston to lancaster which arrives at 10:11.
Then lancaster to kendal which arrives at 11:30.
Leaves Kendal 5 minutes later and arrives at 12:20 in ambleside, kelswick road.

    Bloody public transport!

If this is too late we can arrange to run again sometime.

Al - do you want to come and do the Roaches??? At the end of the day you'll be quicker than me so don't worry about not having raced 15 miles although having said that you did do the LDWA didn't you the other week??

Anyway - I'm local to you as you know and it's not as if I don't post on here letting everyone know what I'm up too so you'll know where I'm headed!!

If ever you need a lift or want to tag along just holla!
