    Snowdonia Marathon

    Any others doing it?

    Forecast is cloud level at 300 m, torrential rain and 50mph winds, 80 mph gusts, on the summits, so should be interesting. I reckon the pass gets the summit winds so unless the direction is kind the start could be interesting.

    How bad was it in 2002 when it was called off?

    Well i think every inch of britain is saturated at the moment - so best of luck...oh and enjoy the mud!

    Pretty windy, trees blown over & roads blocked over here, so I'm sure it was worse over your way. Despite the conditions there were a group of runners who went round anyway.

    The Border League in Chester was cancelled as well .

    Yep i will be there looking forward to it won`t be to bad loads of folk to shelter behind unlike a fell race
