    Re: Rugby League World Cup

It's a bit silly really isn't it? I'm sure there are some amateur rugby league teams in Scotland and Ireland but I'll bet none of their players are in the "national" sides. France always had a proper team. I don't know what state the game is in nowadays over there but a four nation contest with them, us, Kiwis and Aussies would bring the game into less disrepute. The spectacle mongers who create things like the "World Cup" are in danger of reducing rugby league's once great code to a laughing stock akin to all-in wrestling.

Don't get me started on the league v union debate,I'm with Danbert all the way. The Barbarians could be playing the All Blacks in my back garden for all I care and I wouldnt bother watching it.

It will,I agree, probably end up England V Aust. in the final ( and you never know England might just win it )
Hope they do cos I'm going to Australia on holiday next week and I just happen to have a ticket for the final in Brisbane

Better get some Hull fan to lend you some B & W cos I don't think you will need any Hull KR colours.

    Sorry Rhino.

Has it finished ? Its all gone quiet again. Maybe they couldn't be arsed due to lack of interest.

What is this thing you call Union?

Doesn't it involve a boarding school, a mars bar and an initiation ceremony?

The Haka is fantastic. The one they did before the final against Australia was really confrontational.
