What are the dates for these? Does it kick off this weekend in Middleton? Or is the first one at BHC two weeks on sat?

I may be premature with this Chaddy, but I heard that it may fold.

Leigh Harriers were due to host the first 2 fixtures, but have resigned from the league and joined the increasingly popular

Clayton Vale what a great place to have a cross country meeeting. There's loads of off road running to be had around there........and there are loads of paths down by the River Medlock too.

I wonder which club are hosting it? Good on them who-ever they are

    Re: SEL XC League

I guested in one of these at Leigh a few years back prior to the Grand Final at Old Trafford. I remember having to wade through a field that had become a lake twice on the way around.
Hoping for a far more successful 2009

I heard that the SEL had been saved. ECH to host the race at Clayton Vale. It had TBC by some date this week I think, but lets hope it can be pulled off.

This was discussed at our committee meeting (Rochdale Harriers) last night and it was mentioned that MCFC are at home on the day that Clayton Vale is due to be held (they are in fact at home to Arsenal and it is a 3 o'clock kick off), this I understand might cause this fixture to be called off.
If I'd wanted a parrot I'd have bought one
