    Female BGR completions

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many successful female BGRs there have been this year please? I went round on June 20-21; I know that two other ladies succeeded on June 6-7 and that there were at least two other completions. Is this a record year for female BG finishers?

    Thanks,
Clare Griffin (approx no. 103? 104?)

The official list http://ww.bobgrahamclub.org.uk/asset...mbersList2.pdf hasn't been updated yet for 2008 so unless Morgan has the figures to hand I've no idea.

    Claire/Bob

The way the "system" works is that Brian Covell prepares a full list of all new members in the early New Year, With winter rounding on the increase, we have to get through 31 December before knowing that we have full year figures.

I then do 2 things; I update the member list so that a fresh list can be PDF'd and posted on the Club website.

I also transpose Brian's membership data onto the central name and address data that I hold with the Club's central records.

So, I can't give you any hard and fast information right now, Claire, but I will have a word with Brian and see what the position is on female completions for 2008.

Hey Bob, not often the likes of you and me attract the adjective "fast"

    Muddy, hopefully news tomorrow.

At the moment slow is too rapid an adjective having had an unexpected talk with Mr Tarmac last week.

Oh dear, hope the damage is just minor.

Did most of a Big Dipper in the deluge last evening and managed to stay on the (weary) pins without any crises.

    Keep smiling.

Usual damage from this sort of thing - holes in knee and elbow, cheese grated hip and what is still a very sore shoulder six days after the event. Good job I was wearing full winter clothing

    Muddy

9 female completions so far this year which is the most this century.

Having had the list read over to me, there is one completion yet to be registered that I know of, so looks like the girls have hit double figures this year.

I was going to reveal your number, but in light of the "missing" completer, I won't now.

Congratulations by the way and I hope to see you next October.
