WHAT??? Carl Bell NOT the winner???

Well done to Tom Addison for winning the race...the fourth time on the trot (a bit more than a trot in Tom's case!).

not far off the record for tom - imagine he'd have got it if it weren't for the wind! I can see why they put turbines up there!

Enjoyed it but just a bit tired at the moment - even the most cursory of rises was a slog. Got a few more sneaky RC's if I make it over again!

Ah, I heard somebody came a cropper on that bridge. I was out recce-ing the route last Saturday and almost did the same. Hope you're okay and not banged up too badly. Get well soon.It was a good race, although very boggy and blowing a hoolie. Hard work but thoroughly enjoyable. Now I'm just looking forward to Black Combe in March. That'll be... fun/interesting/a nightmare/painful/deathly*.* delete as appropriate.

Injury not quite in your league I'm afraid Amex, I'm blaming my Swoop 2's which turned into ice skates on the concrete.

    Re: Kirkby Moor Sat 27/11

Bye that were tough, due to the fact I ran every single yard of the race. (don't happen reight often)

Too old codjers behind me at the start having a discussion who was at the back of the field.

Garmin had the route as 7.2 mile and it looked to be the straightest lines on google earth.

Amex and Darren both have +1 on their tally.

Nice event, nice folk and thanks to the organisor and marshalls for a good morning.
