After reading of Danbert's passing, I too had a few melancholy moments thinking of 'headline' forumites that we can no longer expect to post on these pages - Wheeze & DT have between them covered my list.Originally Posted by Derby Tup
I also know of another once prolific poster who has spent all of this year battling with bowel cancer, which has entailed complete removal of the bowel, and is now fitted with a colostomy bag. Appears to be recovering but still a poorly person. I won't give away identity details as the person in question is determined not to discuss the issue on social media.

Just read in the mag of the passing of Neville McGraw. Think he posted occasionally. Had 1 or 2 enjoyable battles at races such as gravy pud where he'd motor past to the finishing line.

Have tended towards what I would call social running these last few years, real life intervening. Having said that will be ambling along at Lost shepherd next weekend.
To paraphrase Burning Spear social running is the best
Still on antibiotics Manhar to clear up a difficult to move infection but fine in myself thanks. Been over to Beefy’s Nab today for some very light marshalling duty
