    A lovely view of Silsden, which I've now got to negotiate to go and pick my wife up.

    Back on track: it looks like Great Calva is visible from both Great Gable and Great End

    Not looked at that site yet, but when you finish on Skiddaw going anticlockwise it feels like you can see all 42! Far better finish than Robinson in the gloom and a dark road run IMHO!

    Some of the shots are a bit claggy or have sun flare just where you want to see detail but in general a brilliant set of shots.
    It is - Ann Bowker - she's one of the most prolific hill-climbers in the country. I think she's climbed something 1550 Marilyns, just missing out on the St. Kilda ones.

    She also did a solo trip climbing all 2000' hills in Wales in about 30 days - just after she'd retired!

    My avatar is me on Blencathra on my first BG recce, photographing the whole round, or what I could see of it and it was pretty much the lot by a few summits...
