    Countryfile 29/11/08

    BBC 11am, feature on Keswick Mountain rescue this week.
    LOST TIME IS NEVER FOUND AGAIN, WHAT WE CALL TIME ENOUGH ALWAYS PROVES LITTLE ENOUGH.

    Important point in item was that JC referred to OMM - even experienced people can get caught out by weather changes in the lakes. 14 people had to be helped by mountain rescue in a recent event, which the organisers were forced to cancel.
    At last a reasonable summary by the BBC.

    They didnt name the event though did they.

    I was expecting John Craven to be lowered down a crag, but he was only a short distance off the Walna Scar Road.

    Country File is going to be changed. From next January, Jonathon Ross will be presenting the programme.

    Nah I'm only coddin you on, but seriously they are keeping John C on but planning to drop Michaela!! I know she's no spring chicken but she gets my bumbag twitching I'll tell you.

    Saturday 5 December 2010 episode of Countryfile in the White Peak district has two items of fell running interest:-

    1. Ultra fell running

    2. Drag racing.
