Managed to fit this in on my stopover on the way to Australia . Well organised, marvellous harbour views . No entries on the day but I emailed the organiser and he let me pay on the morning of the race.
Came 203rd out of 1,100 so not too bad.

Only been there once for one month when we (The brits) pulled out of Hong Kong in 1997. I rememeber it taking me about a week to get used to the humidity, can't imaging leaving blighty and getting off you air-conditioned plane and doing a race without time to get used to the humidity.
Well Done!
Sounds brilliant, and well done on your performance LR. Where did the course go?

it was about 10 mile out of Hong kong, some marvelous views of 2 suspension bridges over a harbour near Kowloon. I'm in Darwin at the moment, just had a tropical storm. I'm supposed to be doing the Darwin Road Runners 10k tomorrow evening.
Keep us posted on your World Tour!

Finished the Darwin Road Runners race earlier this evening. Humidity was a problem but I got around the course 6k in 29 mins . I came 23rd out of about 100. Just laid on the grass afterwards for 10 mins without moving !!
Some kind Aussie fetched me a ginger beer from the drinks wagon
How long you in Australia for? Can I ask which sites you used to find the races.
Sounds great fun, and well done for the runs!
I come back to a snowy North of England this Sunday As for the races,I worked out my itinerary, knew the dates I was gonna be in Hong Kong, Brisbane and Darwin and checked on Google if they had running clubs and then just e mailed the club's main man. Really pleased to have got in the Hong Kong race as the entries had closed but the guy still allocated me a number & chip and just said pay him on race day.
