on long runs are these worthwhile?
I might have some 'techie' help on this next week.
Science in Sport (Go bar/Gel people) are at Up & Running in Nottingham on 28th Feb.
Q & A session and 'how their products can help your performance and recovery'
Hoping to get in and see what they have to say...
I think YES
I use High 5 recovery and its seams to do ok and tastes good as well.
I also think yes but prefer SIS products
The older I get the Faster I was
I personally prefer high 5, went off SIS stuff, didn't seem as easy to use, no scoop in the tub for proper measurements, unlike high 5. Also the SIS gels made me feel somewhat unwell when I was out one day. The go bars are quite nice though.
I also only drink these after running though.
tea.
milky tea, pap, weak as witch *iss!
if it's good enough for the kenyans, who am i to argue?
ps. yes i do like it like that!
Short arms and deep pockets. A yorkshire man.
After a medium/long session I have found SIS Rego does make a difference. Just used every day in Mallorca on bike training camp and it does help especially when you are training every day. I did the same camp with similar fitness previously but without the Rego and found I was run down by the end of the week - also the SIS PSP22 is def benificial during a long event. There are some crap flavours and don't add cordial to the neutral as this affects the chemistry apparantly! Strawberry Rego is almost pallatable.
Marston's Pedigree
