We are holding a Man V Mountain bike event on 28th Dec in Hawes, N Yorkshire and it has about 20 spaces on at the moment. If anyone is interested get in touch for details or go to

It has food included and the event is a 4 hr orienteering style event where fell runnirs race mountain bikers to various check points in the Dales.

That would be interesting, but not this year. This is more about getting out after Christmas, but a local runner could be tricky to beat if you want a race. That said the quickest route is a killer if you want all the control points.
