    The Trunce

Fancy having a go at this but would like to have a practice run first. Can anyone tell me the route or provide a map?

I tried contacting the organisers through the web site but no ones come back to me yet!

Aren't parts of it out of bounds apart from race nights?

Yes, a 400m leg between grid ref SK2765 9990 & SK2793 9964 is across private land and only accessible on race nights

However, you can carry straight up the public right of way to the road at the side of Hunshelf Hall Farm, turn left towards Greenmoor and turn left onto the access track, which leads to Trunce Farm, where you will rejoin the race route. Alternatively 200m before the restricted section at SK2763 0009 you can turn left off the route and follow another path parallel to the race route which rejoins the route at SK2813 9955

Saw someone this morning just walking along from the start of the race, yellow gloves, mate and myself were just finishing some blustery half mara training. Was it you?

Coak? Sounds as if it should be a proper word that!

Yep - that's correct. I'm producing the new website at the moment. I will post a link here as soon as the prototype is in a fit state to let loose on the General Public. However, the impending delivery of a crate of Ian's "Rescue Ale" might slow that down a bit....
