    Re: Rugby

Enjoyed every last nano second .
Also, very much appreciated the historical rapproachment at the start.
These things are importnat ya know.

All in all a fabulous days rugby. 3 amazing matches. So my team is firmly bolted to the bottom of the table...I don't care. The games had everything.
Sunday matches...sod off. For once, the French have got something right.

England did OK in the end but Italy were brilliant with some new tactics.

England player heard asking ref what should they do?

    Ref said ask your coach.

    Sour grapes!
Reminded me of that old 70's T shirt of the mouse sticking two fingers up to the swooping eagle...you might get me but I dont care!
More evidence that Sergio Parisse is the best rugby player of any era, any team. Period. Did you see him catch the high ball in touch and manage to transport himself side ways in mid air so he landed back in play? Amazing. #Man-crush!

Some devotees can take offence at a lack of offensive play. Personally I thought it was great play really - ingeniously using the rules to your ends. Though the end was ultimately different, everyone was in awe of Ali's 'rope-a-dope'!
