My wife's now need new soles (uppers are still OK)

I must be doing something wrong by the time the soles on mine are worn out the uppers are torn to shreds

I have that problem too. At most I get one resole but only if I get them resoled quite early. If I leave it until the studs are badly worn it's not worth it as the uppers are shot.

not me , 2nd resole on my pbs and uppers are okay
slightly lost there shape but otherwise okay

can you still get the pbs with walsh sown in the back of the shoe in yellow nowadays

Hi,
After a recent visit to ETA sports in Bolton (aka walsh factory), i asked them the same question about re-sole, they gave me a flyer for lancs shoe repair.
Although he said he would nt advise getting it done, as by the time the studs have worn, there more or less goosed and will have lost alot of their support around the heel cup especially. But i suppose he would say that though!! $$$ BTW i got a pair of racers for 40 quid
