Thread: Sat Nav bargain?

    Sat Nav bargain?

I would like too get a Sat Nav and hoping to find a bargain, as i have only got upto £80 to spend on a Sat Nav, i want one that talks, and that also has a house charger as my car does not have a cigarette lighter in it.

I have seen one in Argos for £78.29 which i have on reserve, but i am hoping to find one alittle cheaper in the credit crunch sales.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i would like one soon as possible.

    Ta very much

I've used a few sat navs now and my advice would be to buy the best you can afford as some of the cheaper one's can be well......vague.
IMO the best one is still the entry level tomtom, but I think thats slightly more than £80.

Atlas is a much better bet and can be had for <£3 if you shop around. Sat Navs tell lies.

How un PC - dont you know you should call it a 12volt power point? You probably run with that brigade that calls the forward stowage compartment a glove box!

Don't know if you're sorted yet but Aldi have one on offer
at £116 = I know it's a bit more than your budget but it does have
TMC – Free Lifetime Subscription. - this is worth quite a bit
Integrated ‘Traffic Message Channel’ receiver. TMC delivers updated traffic information direct to your navigation device so that traffic jams and slow moving traffic can be avoided and will help you reach your destination on time and stress free.
TMC receives reliable and regular TrafficMaster data via standard FM radio frequencies. This data is translated by the navigation software and compared against your existing journey details. Unlike other sat nav devices the TMC feature is absolutely FREE to use for the lifetime of the product. No monthly subscription costs are incurred by you
