    Apples!

    Pressing matter here....

I have a bit of a thing for apples - but i cant stand mushy apples!

So from personal experience, what are the best, most crunchy, juiciest apples?

Red or green -not too bothered although the mother seems to buy red more often than green - not sure why like...hmmm.

    Preferably British.

Like a nice crisp Cox's Orange Pippin or a Howgate Wonder, even a Laxtons superb
    Generally going nowhere fast.

Granny Smiths. Green and crisp. Chop it up and throw in a salad along with some white seedless grapes - served with chips of course.

Because i used to wear braces - i wasnt allowed to bite into apples or i'd break them....so i had to cut the apples with a knife.
If not had braces for a year or so now and ive still not got used to biting into an apple....still have to slice it.

Couple of iPods, an old iMac (blue flavour) and I'm writing this on my old faithful iBook G4. Seriously considering a 24in iMac for next christmas pressy to self.
