I got some montain tights from Pete Blands. They are very nice. Asics do nice tights too. You can't go wrong with a pair of Ron hills, usually cheap too. Failing all that, just smother your legs in deep heat and run in shorts!
But make sure they are ronhill tights and not thats awful legging things!

They do indeed make lycra type tights. Mine are ace, kept my legs nice and snug yesturday.
These are what ive got. They match my shorts as well....which go over the top
I have a few pairs of tracksters. Good to run in, good for climbing too. Not the sexiest, but very practical
I've a lovely pair of fleece lined blue adidas tracksters for really cold runs, ( of the ilk that Mr Baxter wore in Grange Hill or probably your PE teacher in the 70's and 80.s !)
they're really retro uncool, and people laugh but I don't care
( also have used my padless roubaix cycling bibs...toasty.... and one day if it's cold and windy enough may even run in the ones with windproof panels on )
Have tried the fleece powerstretch type leggings. Great for those days like yesterday!!! Berghaus & Lowe Alpine sell them.
After climbing a great hill one only finds that there are many more hills to climb ......
