    Skins-much cop?

    Howdy all

Has anyone out there used the Skins compression system (long tights in particular)?
My legs are constantly battered, but I hear (from their own website) that by wearing these magic pants, your legs are good as new the next day to do more damage!
50 notes seems a lot for a pair of tight tracksters, but if they work, I can justify it & it'd be hard-earned-well spent!
Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Taa

Think there are cheaper alternatives out there that promise the same thing. I've got some KooGa ones (ArmourFit - £30, I think). Don't know about magicking away all your aches and pains, but the restriction you feel over sore thighs etc. can be quite reassuring.

I bought a pair of Line Break for a lot less last year. I don't believe there's much between them to be honest.
If you're a triathlete then you must buy Skins, for the rest of us it probably doesn't matter.
Frighteningly, there's talk of them being useless after 20 washes as they no longer compress enough!

Helly Hansen vests when bought at the correct size and washed 20 times compress nicely.

I have a pair of skins tights, have run in them once and they have almost worn through in the er.... groin area. Worst £50 odd I've ever spent. They are also quite cold to wear so not much cop for running in cold weather.

I've got some saucony tights which I use for training, Can't say I've noticed a any difference in achs and pains but they do make me a lot slower which is why I don't race in them. I always feel too restricted.

Also got a pair of linebreak long tights...never worn during an event but after they do seem to reduce the soreness in my legs...or is that just me justifying wearing them...anyway they seem to work for me....although I have had a few funny looks off the girlfriend at bedtime.....I'm not sure they ring her bell
