Well it depends on so many things doesn't it?

Heavy rain/light rain? Freezing/warm temperatures? Does it need to be packed away? Suitability for looking good in the pub after?

An anorak for every occasion. That should be my motto

Montane Featherlite for me! Also got an OMM Kamleika but it's very warm and moisture builds up inside - only for very wet weather!

    Jacket

I use the concurve next to skin ,you do not have to wear a t or long sleeve shirt underneath so less washine is required.
It is great for everything but the wettest downpour in which case i may use a waterproof jacket.
I have run for years and this top is the best bit of kit i have used.

Only have 1, an old karrimor pertex. Looking at getting one of the montane jackets. Wife will not be keen. Another bloody coat!

    Re: Anoraks

Old Kimm Pertex has served me well. Tried Marmot Essence last night- wasn't working particularly hard but I seemed much drier inside at end of run. Hopefully alot more weatherproof too.
