Will anyone be carrying water or is it short enough/enough drinkable streams not to bother?
I'm camping at Braithwaite Bridges and thinking of walking to the start. Can anyone tell me if the footpath that follows the east bank of Newlands Beck towards Uzzicar and Stair is ok? I think I saw on some walking/photo websites that this section was closed for repair after the flooding. Rather go cross-country than walk round the lanes.
Thanks, Jim
i've never done this race before. do we just turn up at the village hall and collect our numbers/undergo kit checks?
Oh when the blues...go marching in...
..........There's normally camping in the car parking field the night before and after the race. Why don't you stay there?.......
Already booked in. Heading up Thursday to hopefully miss the holiday traffic and staying til Monday so not a problem, and i'll need at least one decent shower during that time! Braithwaite Bridges looks to have decent facilities. Cheaper than B&B so suits me. Thanks anyway
