Many many thanks to Steve and Wynn and all your wonderful team for putting on such a fantastic race. My first one and conditions good, route amazing and views were fantastic. Free beer as well, and brewed by the awesome Hawkshead Brewery, it doesn't get any better.
I will be helping next year, my preference would be pulling pints, heh heh.
Seriously tho, will help with anything, will catch up nearer the date.

You must have been one of the earlier finishers.
Visibility was down to 25 metres on the summit of Dale Head from 1.00pm onwards!

Phew, just finished a 6 hour sesh on the Loweswater Gold at Braithwaite!

No I just upped the pace to follow someone who (looked like they) knew where they were going, ha! I'm such a lazy git I didn't want to use my navigational skills and get out the map (?@?@@?).

2.13 I think, so behind the world probably!

I'd like to reiterate Clive's sentiment: thanks to Steve, Wynne et al for a superb race with a great atmosphere. It was also my first Waltz but hopefully the first of many. I thought the weather was great as, like Clive, I snuck round before the visibility reduced. I'm certainly glad it wasn't as hot as Friday as I would have struggled!

Thanks for a great race and excellent organisation. My second time and I'll be back again. I bought the race map for TWA, but that might be as far as I go!!

Link here to start and finish of yesterdays anniversary waltz. Apologies to the winnner, I wasn't expecting him to be back that quick and hence he doesn't feature at the end!

A brilliant race. My first time. Many thanks indeed to all of those involved, much appreciated.

Must remember to pace better next time. My legs felt shot just before the climb up to Hindscarth!

    Anyone seen the results?
