Been for a run this afternoon and the fields are full of baby lambs Okay, it's not spring yet but it's a sign it's too far off

I came across what appeared to be 4 hairy rare breed pigs on the Pennine way heading towards Ponden Res. One gave chase but stopped as i got to the gate and looked like he was after a stroke, did not like the look of his teeeth though so I stayed away. Snogged it though (well it is valentines day).

Then in Haworth at the back of Parkside social club where there is a tarmac path through what appears to be playing fields to Providence lane, there were 5 highland cattle clustered round the Gate on the path- they were willing to be petted but it was all a bit bizarre.

Also saw some Mountain bikers on the Millenium Footpath. But no lambs anywhere.
