What distance/climb is this? I was aiming to make my much anticipated (?) return to thills this weekend. Want to know if this will be a bit too much too soon. I could always take the non-extended route?

On the face of it, that looks good. Is that with or without the extension? If without, what with, and vice versa?

If you wanna follow it on a map the route is Dumail Raise-Steel Fell-Calf Crag-Sergeant Man-High Raise-Thunacar Knott-Harrison Stickle-Pike o Stickle- Rossett Crag-Bowfel then down to Langdale. I might have been a bit cheap on the ascent.

Cool. I'll have a shufty. I'll wait until nearer time before confirming if I'll be there: see how my knee's progressing.

I may also be up for a bit of car-share action, joining the M6 at the M65 junction. Can make it my car if you want? But obviously let's wait and see if I'm coming first.

    Cheers

    J32 for me guys.

Karl - I need to be back in Langdale for the 2pm curfew - school run see so if you want to do the extended version and this take you over that then I'll just have to follow up in my car.

Gary if you also decide on the short route let me now and you/I can leave a car at J32 and fuel share and save the environment!!
