Grassington Cottage to Rent, Yorkshire Dales, 1 week from Sat 10th March

I've booked and paid for a high-quality cottage in Grassington, Yorkshire Dales for one week from Saturday 10th March. The price was £400 inc gas/elec etc. It'll sleep 6 people; we were going with 2 and a dog.

I now (suddenly) have to go into hospital for a long awaited transplant operation on Tuesday 6th so cannot use it.

I will not (and don't want to) 'sub-let' it but I'll get my money back if someone else books it SO I'm willing to reimburse a percentage to any forumite who wants to PM or email me; they book it; I'll get my money back and then send them an agreed sum - I get some back, they get a cheaper weeks holiday.

I can't stress enough the quality of the location; no need to drive for a whole week - walking/running/strolling from the door, great cottage, terrific village and pubs.

Fat Bloke, sounds great but I don't think Social Services would look kindly on me leaving the kids home alone to fend for themselves and get to school for a week - another few years yet
