    3 X 3 Peaks

I'm looking to do the 3 Peaks, 3 times within 24 hours. I'm hoping to start at 11am on Good Friday in Horton. I hope to do the first leg in 7 hours, the second in 8 and the last in 9. If anyone is interested in joining me on any one of the legs (maybe just for the experience of going around at night.) Please contact me at [email protected].

ps. I'd love to hear from anyone who has done this before.

    Cheers
    Ben

Thanks to those who contacted me with encouragement, I'll be in touch after next friday to let you know how I got on. If there is still anyone interested in joining me, just give me a shout, and for those who said they would be out around the course on the day I'll see you soon!

    Cheers
    Ben

I'm going to be setting off at 11am on the friday. I did the Pennine 100 (http://www.ambitionevents.com/penninechallenge/) last year, so im expecting it should be daylight when I'm most tired, because I'm not very fast, infact I go so slow I could fall asleep whilst on the go!!

That would be an awesome achievement Ben. Good luck

I have long thought that 2 * 3 peaks would be possible and practicable. Getting a drink at the barn/cafe coming of Whernside and re-stocking at the car after the first round. Then a training extension would be to run 1 * 3P and then PYG and back to Horton

I think someone has done it before (I remember something in 'Studmarks' I think) but it seems a particularly masochistic challenge!

Good luck though - I hope the weather holds up, it's just about ideal at the moment! I was out on Pendle Hill last night and the ground is remarkably dry and firm.

Best of luck, got to say that I think you are mad, but if we were all the same it would be boring!
