Press ups I have no chance, especailly now I am not climbing but this I could give a go. Can do 100 and have sons who can beat me so perhaps this is what I should aim for

All the more reason for you to get with the programme!

Surely you can do a couple? Then follow the programme to improve. G'wan! You know you want to...

No problems with these yet - just the right amount of burn as I hit my max.

    Week 1 Day 3

No time to go beyond my max, had to go pick the daughter up from work. Felt I had another few left in me.

Good burning sensation towards the end of each set, and pretty much all through the last one. Nice.

Due to the exhaustion test on my press-ups and starting my pull-ups on the wrong day, I'm now out of synch (press-ups Week 5 Day 1 and pull-ups Week 2 Day 1 tomorrow). Will try to get it back in line before the end of the week.

Finding these fairly boring. The slow movement caused by holding at the top of the crunch for a second, just breaks up any rhythm. Still a nice amount of burn though. Can feel it doing its work.

Just me doing these, is it? Again, bit boring, but slogging through it. Feeling the burn at the end of the sets, so must be working. Beginning to see the makings of a six-pack, so all good there too. Exhaustion test Weds.

I can do 50 but not tried anymore?
Will doing loads of sit ups give me a better 6 pack or will i still have to paint it on?

Ha! Not sure on that one, suppose it'll still depend on fat intake. Reckon it's possible to build strong Abs (therefore well-defined six pack) but insulate it with a layer of the soft stuff!!
