    males running underwear

Not your usual topic BUT here goes

Does anyone wear any special running underwear? Normal cotton pants rub in all the wrong places when wet!

If you do what is recommended

Plenty of vaseline and normal briefs for me under the shorts/leggings. Be very liberal with the vas though. Once relied on just the shorts lining on one winter run and the cold wind hitting the front of the nylon shorts caused lots of discomfort so had to place a glove down the front to avoid any further shrinkage/frost bite! There are specialist briefs out there that have a windblock section but I have not felt the need (apart from the glove incident).

I got a pair the other week, great when it's windy, but they don't feel right, kind off odd!

As soon as I saw the post title I knew you would post this

Just to let people know, I am not in a habit of sharing my pants with blokes. It was a needs must thing at the OMM. Just need to clear that one up.

    Oh and they were clean.

Got an older pair of these- brilliant on cold windy days. Also got a pair of Berghaus briefs which don't have a windproof panel but are also wicking- both pairs much superior to cold wet cotton briefs and cause very little chafing. (damn my fat thighs)
First run then beer. If no run then proceed directly to beer.
