    Thanks for the shout, Stagger.
As for lines, Shaun Godsman was obviously going well as he was a minute and a half up on the next runners by my checkpoint (Dimmin Dale Edge), and seemed to have used more of the path than some of his pursuers did. Even if he cut through the heather somewhere after Sheepstones, he was back on the path below the butts well before the wall corner.

he said he stayed on the path all the way from sheepstones edge weather this be right or wrong but was the only way he new at the time, appears to have worked ,but would have been interesting to see if there had been split times

No Stagger that was team mate Kath she had to stop a few times to re tie her laces. Sombody told me 3 good tight knots or the heather will pull them open.
I was the next Tod lady just in front of her at the point.(wasnt for long though)
Now I know who you are I will say hello next time I see you.

He went lower than the shooting butt's and definietelly took a bit of time out of the chasing pack for it - it was a bit academic by then though as we was flying anyway!

Great race and a lovely morning, nice to meet you cobbydale - a fellow Wharfedaler too!
