Anybody else heading to North Wales for the British Vets XC on Saturday? Or is it just me flying the flag for fellrunners? (Not that I've done any fell races for 4 months!!)

I'll be flying the flag for not very good fellrunners who much prefer cross-country, weak hamstring permitting. Heard varying reports of how tough the course is (from "quite" to "very").
Good journey to the venue? Check!
Good shoe choice - Walshes, not spikes? Check!
Ability to actually race vaguely competively??.... er..... no....
One better than me - didn't even start Looked like a competitive, if small, Vets under 50 field. Not found any results as yet.
I thought Wythenshawe Park was a fast/ easy course but this one takes the biscuit. Road flats seemed to be the order of the day.
Had to laugh when a guy said he was amazed he could pass a fellrunner on the downhill bit. Anybody notice it?
Still no results. No idea where I finished but you know you're not running well when you're surrounded by runners in the age group above.
Well done to Longdogs - third woman..
"You gotta put a little bit of ****ing fairy dust over the bastard"
Is it coincidence that 56 finished in each race or is it that the results only show the first 56 to finish in each category?
